Job Description

Grounds Maintenance Operative role at Abri, a large housing provider. The role involves maintaining external communal areas, including grass, shrubs, and hedges, and may include soft landscaping or minor tree work. Position is a 12-month fixed term contract covering Yeovil area.

Job Responsibility

  • Upkeep of the external communal areas, grass, shrubs and hedges
  • Soft landscaping/minor tree work
  • Cyclical upkeep of the communal areas to customers
  • Management of trees
  • Dealing with hazards such as dumped items or clearing snow

Requirements

  • Practical amenity horticultural knowledge & experience
  • PA1 and PA6AW qualifications (desirable, but not essential)
  • NPTC certification or equivalent (desirable, but not essential)
  • A full driver's licence (with towing licence desirable)

Nice to have

  • PA1 and PA6AW qualifications
