Job Description:

Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Grounds & Maintenance Manager to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks. Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will oversee the effective operation, presentation and safety of all facilities and grounds across the hotel, campground and contractors camp (Zone 3). This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving preventative maintenance programs, managing minor capital works, ensuring WHS compliance, and leading multi-site teams to deliver consistently high standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead maintenance, landscaping and cleaning operations across Zone 3
  • Oversee preventative maintenance, work orders and repair programs
  • Manage minor capital works and site improvement projects
  • Respond to urgent and safety-related issues
  • Supervise, roster and develop Supervisors, Handypersons and Grounds staff
  • Ensure WHS compliance, safe work practices and PPE standards
  • Coordinate works with Technical Services, contractors and suppliers
  • Manage quotes, budgets and maintenance records

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Grounds or Maintenance Manager in a hotel, resort or similar environment
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, facilities and landscaping practices
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs and digital work order systems
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues
  • Confident leading multi-site teams and managing contractors
  • Valid Open Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Remote area experience highly regarded
