Job Description:

As we continue to grow, Tai Tarian is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Grounds & Biodiversity Officer to join us during our seasonal peak. The role is a pivotal role within our Neighbourhood Team as they work to achieve operational targets and service standards. The successful Grounds & Biodiversity Officer will be working as part of our Property and Land Services team, following a well-established set of job objectives and processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Overseeing a team undertaking of grounds and environmental maintenance tasks in our homes and across our communities
  • Ensuring an excellent customer service is provided at all times
  • Ensuring work schedules are completed on time
  • Ensuring all plant, machinery and equipment is secure, maintained and utilised effectively
  • Maintaining health and safety standards and requirements for the team at all times
  • Safely produce work of a high standard
  • Ensuring accurate reporting of information to customer and your colleagues

Requirements:

  • Ability to co-ordinate a team
  • Excellent team player
  • Experience in ground maintenance or in a similar industry
  • Have a current and valid driving licence with the ability to manoeuvre a variety of vans and vehicles
  • Hold a minimum Level 2 Qualification or have equivalent experience
  • Resilience in challenging and conflicting situations
  • Valid driving licence or have the ability to travel through the borough consistently
