Grounds & Biodiversity Assistant

• Support the Grounds and Biodiversity Officer in working to achieve operational targets and service standards
• Undertake grounds and environmental maintenance tasks
• Ensure accurate reporting of information to customer and colleagues
• Create a positive first impression of our buildings, land, homes, and communities by ensuring they are professionally maintained generating an environment that is welcoming, safe, hygienic, and homely

• At least 6 months experience in ground maintenance or in a similar industry
• Hold a valid CSCS card and have a strong, positive approach to Health and Safety
• A keen interest in the environment and Biodiversity
• Ability and willingness to follow job activities and processes
• Be able to deliver a high standard of work within deadlines
• Resilience in challenging and conflicting situations
• Be a strong team player
• Valid driving licence or have the ability to travel through the borough consistently
