Are you interested in joining a respected main dealer of premium groundcare machinery? At T H White Groundcare, you’ll represent leading brands including Toro, Iseki, Amazone, Ferris, Ventrac and Wessex. These are trusted names with local authorities, estates and groundcare contractors, and this is your chance to become one of our specialist regional Service Technicians supporting our customers. We are recruiting for a Groundcare Technician to join our established team at our depot in Stourport. Reporting to the Service Manager, the role will be responsible for carrying out unit set ups, and the repairs and servicing of commercial groundcare machinery across the Midlands. Although a background in commercial grounds care machinery is advantageous, we welcome applications from individuals with transferable skills from working on forklifts, cars, HGVs, or plant machinery. Our Technicians are offered regular opportunities to enhance their skills through training provided by the manufacturers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Carrying out the repairs and servicing of commercial grounds care machinery
  • Working both on site as mobile technician and within the workshop
  • Setting up commercial and fine turf cutting units
  • Job administration

Requirements:

  • Possess technical abilities that include engine experience and diagnostics, whole vehicle electrics, hybrid technologies
  • Engineering background in ground care/forklifts/cars/HGVs/plant machinery
  • Full UK Driving Licence due to the travel involved in this role
  • Can demonstrate a high attention to detail and first time fix
  • Possess strong communication and time management skills
  • Can work independently and part of a team
  • Have a can-do attitude and a real customer focus

Nice to have:

  • Background in commercial grounds care machinery is advantageous
  • Transferable skills from working on forklifts, cars, HGVs, or plant machinery
