As a Ground Segment Software IVV Engineer, you are responsible for the Integration, Verification and Validation of the Software which will allow the Mission and Payload Management. The Software will be partly developed internally within the team and will be partly subcontracted to internal and external Subcontractors. The application to be developed consists of a set of SW Modules which allow the simulation, commanding ad monitoring of a cutting-edge Payload, as well as the overall traffic configuration. You will be in charge of contributing to the definition of the IVV Plan and Reports as well as performing general Software Design, Development and IVV tasks. Your range of tasks will cover the entire Software Development lifecycle, from Requirements definition, Software Design and IVV. Your activities will be performed in close cooperation with the System Engineers, the SW Architect, the SW developers and the sub-contractors.
Job Responsibility:
Analyse customer requirements and define the System IVV Plan, ensuring coverage of Requirements, Design and Interface.
Develop System / Subsystem level Test Cases, ensuring coherency with overall Ground Segment IVV Strategy
Develop Integration strategy, including integration schedule aiming to achieve operational roll-outs for Factory and On-Site acceptance.
Contribute to the definition of the Software Architecture, ensuring robustness and compatibility with already existing software modules.
Conduct analysis on Software non-conformances, discrepancies and waivers
Analyse data from validation tests to determine whether systems and processes meet required criteria and specifications
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Aerospace or other related Engineering
Experience in System and Software IVV, possibly in the field of GEO / LEO Mission Management topics (i.e. SCC, PCC concepts)
Experience with Software Integration strategies and tools (i.e. Containers orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, E2E testing)
Experience with Incremental delivery strategies, ensuring consistent roll-out and maintenance procedures.
Experience with integration of AI engines in Software products
Ability to operate and efficiently communicate in a multi-national team organisation
Language skills: English fluent
Nice to have:
Knowledge of AGILE Development Lifecycle (Kanban, SCRUM, SAfE)
Experience with ECSS-40C process
Knowledge of modern Systems Engineering techniques and tools (MBSE, DOORS, EA, CAMEO)
