We are seeking a reliable and dedicated experienced maintenance professional to help keep our grounds of our homes, school and learning facilities well-maintained. This is your chance to contribute to a meaningful cause—providing therapeutic environments for children and young people who need them most.

Job Responsibility:

  • Helping to maintain the outdoor areas across our Amegreen homes, equine therapy centre, and school sites, ensuring they remain welcoming and well‑kept
  • Keeping lawns mowed, trimming hedges and trees, and making sure our grounds always look their best
  • Carrying out hands‑on repairs, including fence building, maintaining animal enclosures, and completing painting tasks when needed
  • Looking after tools and equipment so everything stays clean, safe, and ready to use
  • Completing regular health and safety checks, preventative maintenance, and any ad‑hoc repairs that arise
  • Following all Health and Safety guidelines to keep our sites safe for everyone

Requirements:

  • Able to work independently and manage tasks using a structured booking system
  • Calm under pressure, organised, and capable of prioritising workloads
  • Holder of a full, clean UK driver's license
  • Able to join a team and be willing to attend urgent calls outside normal hours on occasion
  • Kind, empathetic, and comfortable working in a care setting
  • Familiar with COSHH regulations and safe maintenance practices
