Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, passionate, and enthusiastic person to join our grocery team at New World Gardens. Under the direction of our Grocery Manager and Assistant Manager you will be an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring there is a full range of products available for our customers, be the primary point of contact within the department, assist with training and development needs within the grocery team. We are looking for a supervisor who is filled with drive and enthusiasm and who thrives on a challenge. This is a great mentoring role assisting the team to develop their potential and become invaluable members of the grocery team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Motivating, coaching, and supporting the grocery team, ensuring that best practice policies and operation procedures are followed at all times
  • Actively promote high-quality customer service
  • The ability to assist with leading a team and providing them with a great place to work and grow
  • Compliance with our Health & Safety and Food Safety Standards
  • Prevent wastage through product rotation
  • Assist with ticketing, re-pricing and stock take requirements
