Grinder

• Load, unload, inspect, clean and pre-treat parts and assemblies in the paint area
• Grind frames to print in the grinding room

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to pass respiratory physical
• Successful completion of introductory period (6 months)

• Able to properly inspect, load and unload the paint system (racks, trees, chain spacing, etc)
• Able to properly prepare parts for the paint system (sanding, plugging, eye bolts, etc)
• Able to inspect frames for pinholes, missing welds, etc.
• Understand and follow the work instructions and quality standards for the department
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot problems with parts being produced with assistance, while meeting the productivity requirements of the department
• Have a basic understanding of documentation (examples include ISO, windchill, Kanban and TKS’s)
