This concept blends the classic American steakhouse with the Parisian dining scene. La Tête d’Or by Daniel features a 150-person main dining area, a cocktail bar in a dramatic lounge, and multiple private dining rooms. The Grill Cook is responsible for preparing a variety of cooked meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables on a specially designed gas/charcoal/wood burning grill, following established recipes and standards. This job requires an understanding of kitchen operations, proper food handling and sanitation practices, and thorough understanding of cooking meats to specific temperatures. The Grill Cook must be able to work quickly and accurately to produce high-quality dishes in a timely manner. Additionally, the Grill Cook must ensure that all food is handled safely by following health department guidelines, and is presented in an attractive manner.
Job Responsibility
Cook beef, chicken, fish, and other meats according to recipes
Regulate temperature of broilers, grills, and other cooking equipment
Monitor food quality and portion sizes
Keep kitchen clean and organized
Check inventory of supplies and order items as needed
Comply with food safety regulations
Ability to work in a hot and humid environment
