Job Description

Mint Selection is supporting renewable energy and grid infrastructure projects and is seeking experienced Grid Engineers for contract opportunities. These roles will support the connection and integration of renewable energy assets into the UK grid across solar PV, BESS, wind, and wider power infrastructure projects.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage grid connection applications and technical compliance activities
  • Coordinate with National Grid, DNOs, ICPs, and project stakeholders
  • Review substation, cable, and grid interface designs
  • Support grid offer, planning, and consenting processes
  • Ensure projects meet technical standards and connection agreements
  • Support project reporting and technical coordination activities

Requirements

  • Previous grid engineering or grid connection experience within renewable energy or utilities sectors
  • Understanding of UK grid connection processes and compliance requirements
  • Experience supporting renewable energy project delivery preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Relevant electrical engineering qualifications advantageous
