Job Description

Grid Development Manager position managing projects related to interaction between energy users and the grid, ensuring efficient project delivery within scope, cost and time. The role serves as the focal point for technical, commercial and regulatory issues surrounding grid compliance and connection for transmission and distribution networks.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing projects related to interaction between users (PV, battery storage, windfarms & etc.) and the grid
  • Ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently (within scope, cost and time)
  • Act as the focal point for technical, commercial and regulatory issues surrounding grid compliance and grid connection for transmission and distribution networks
  • Provide technical assistance during project development
  • Carry out technical due diligence and risk assessment on grid connection conditions/agreements
  • Manage Technical Advisors and Consultants to support Grid and Delivery related activities across Italy
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the Italian TSO and DNOs
  • Manage and be responsible for the process of grid applications

Requirements

  • University Degree in Electrical Power Systems and/or Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years involvement in medium to large-scale (10-50 MW) interconnections of power generation projects
  • Excellent use of Italian and English Language
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong ties to key industry players
  • Knowledge of market-standard construction and equipment costs

Nice to have

Additional qualification in renewable energy (especially RES)
