Job Description:

Piper Maddox has partnered with a global IPP for an URGENT hire to their German engineering team: a Grid Connection Manager. The business has operated for over 15 years, and is active in 20+ countries with largescale solar, wind, and BESS projects. They have around 10 GW of projects in their international pipeline.

Job Responsibility:

Be the in-house expert for grid connections, working between development & project management teams to complete projects

Requirements:

Experience covering the development of grid connections for largescale/HV projects
Deep knowledge of the grid connection process and manage the grid connection requests (from development up until operation)
Knowledge of VDE-AR-N 4110, 4120
Awareness of grid technologies and software - able to carry out feasibility studies and necessary calculations for grid connections (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink, DIgSILENT PowerFactory)
Ability to communicate with German DSOs and TSOs through calls & meetings
FLUENT German required
