Job Responsibility:

  • Having the mentality of a product owner for Grid Code Compliance within Nordex
  • Analyze and evaluate Grid Code requirements and standards
  • Ensuring that there is no requirement without a test case
  • Transfer and translate Grid Code requirements to the software development process by abstract software requirements and test cases. Being member of an agile software development process
  • Develop internal product specifications for Grid Code compliance
  • Support the Grid Code compliance and Grid connection within Sales and Project phase
  • Define test plans for Grid Code compliance and quality assurance on wind farm, wind turbine and component level
  • Perform, evaluate and document Grid Code compliance tests
  • Analyze test data
  • Specifying new functions and features to gain, maintain and optimize Grid Code compliance on wind farm and wind turbine level
  • Shape and clarify Grid Code requirements within working groups, committees and direct exchange with utilities and customers
  • Having a clear picture and deep understanding of the capabilities of the Nordex products to be able to rate Grid Code compliance
  • Optimize the processes within Grid Code compliance

Requirements:

  • BE / Btech in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience in Grid Code Compliance
  • Wind industry experience is an added advantage
