Job Responsibility

Lead your planting line to hit hourly and daily output targets
Assign tasks, set the pace, and keep the crew on track
Check quality continuously (tray counts, depth, spacing, accuracy)
Adjust workflow when bottlenecks appear
Train new or rotating staff on the line
Communicate issues or labour needs to the Team Leaders
Assist Team Leaders in running crews across tasks such as spacing, consolidating, trimming, potting, and cleaning
Help direct workers and keep them on pace
Reinforce instructions and clarify tasks
Support training of new hires or temporary workers
