As Sistem Global, we are currently expanding and screening our expert pool in the field of green and low-carbon hydrogen and the broader energy transition, in view of upcoming international technical assistance opportunities expected to be implemented in Ankara, Türkiye.
Requirements:
Master’s degree or higher in Energy Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy Economics, or a closely related field
At least 10 years of general professional experience in the energy sector
Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in hydrogen-related projects, low-carbon energy systems, or energy transition initiatives
Nice to have:
Proven experience as Team Leader, Key Expert, or Project Manager in EU-funded or other international technical assistance projects
Strong track record in coordinating multidisciplinary expert teams and managing complex, multi-stakeholder project environments
Demonstrated experience working with public authorities, regulators, ministries, and/or state-owned enterprises in the energy sector
In-depth knowledge of green and low-carbon hydrogen ecosystems, covering production, storage, transmission, and end-use applications
Hands-on experience with hydrogen strategies, roadmaps, national or regional hydrogen ecosystem studies, or master planning exercises
Proven expertise in gas and hydrogen infrastructure planning, including assessment of pipeline systems, storage facilities, and transmission networks
Experience in evaluating the technical compatibility and repurposing potential of existing natural gas infrastructure for hydrogen, including blending and dedicated hydrogen transport
Ability to lead or directly contribute to the preparation of Hydrogen Master Network Plans, infrastructure roadmaps, or system integration studies
Strong understanding of energy policy and regulatory frameworks, including policy gap analysis, regulatory alignment, and institutional role definition
Solid knowledge of EU energy and hydrogen policy frameworks, including the EU Green Deal, Fit for 55, REPowerEU, and relevant international standards and best practices
Proven ability to supervise and/or author high-quality technical reports, feasibility studies, policy analyses, strategic plans, and investment-oriented studies
Experience translating complex technical assessments into policy-relevant recommendations and actionable implementation pathways
Experience in institutional capacity building, including design and delivery of trainings, workshops, and knowledge transfer activities on hydrogen and energy transition topics
