Cella by Randstad Digital is seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join a fast-paced, client-oriented team. In this role, you will act as a brand steward, creating accurate, visually compelling, and brand-compliant design solutions across multiple channels. You will manage projects from initial brief to final production, ensuring all work meets exact industry standards for both print and digital media. The ideal candidate is a proactive collaborator who can provide strategic design rationale, stay ahead of industry trends, and deliver innovative solutions that meet complex communication needs. This is a contract position that requires the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and brand integrity. This is a 12-month contract, which allows the talent to work remotely from within the Greater Toronto Area.
Job Responsibility:
Design & Production: Create mechanical layouts from original designs or compositions, utilizing raw design layouts and incomplete files to produce final, industry-standard digital files
Brand Stewardship: Provide expert brand guidance to maintain a consistent look and feel across all materials, ensuring every project adheres to established corporate guidelines
Client Engagement: Attend client meetings to present concepts, explain design merits, and provide professional insight and rationale for design decisions
Accessibility & Quality: Enhance all designs to meet WCAG 2.0 (ADA) accessibility standards and adhere to strict quality control policies
Project Management: Manage the full lifecycle of multiple projects from concept to completion, ensuring all work is delivered on time, within budget, and properly documented/stored
Collaboration: Work proactively and collaboratively with internal and external parties, including senior creative leads and business partners, to brainstorm ideas and implement process improvements
Multi-Channel Execution: Design and layout a wide range of internal and external materials, including web assets, social media cards, digital ads, email campaigns, animation, and print media
Requirements:
Minimum 5-7 years of graphic design experience in a client-facing, fast-paced environment
2-4 year diploma or degree in Graphic Design, New Media Design, or Information Design from a recognized institution
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Figma, and After Effects (animation skills are a plus)
Professional understanding of Apple OS
working knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Dreamweaver is an advantage
Deep understanding of print and digital production standards, including the ability to prepare files for exact industry specifications
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
bilingualism is considered an asset
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate diplomatically in challenging situations
Meticulous attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and a diverse portfolio that demonstrates creativity and critical thinking
Nice to have:
animation skills are a plus
working knowledge of Dreamweaver is an advantage
bilingualism is considered an asset
