Job Description:

Graphic Designer role for clients across different industries in the Chicago area, responsible for translating ideas and concepts into compelling visual assets across corporate branding, digital campaigns, print media, and product packaging.

Job Responsibility:

Translate ideas and concepts into compelling visual assets
Collaborate with clients or stakeholders to understand project goals
Develop innovative visual solutions that align with branding and marketing strategies
Create assets such as logos, brochures, advertisements, packaging, website visuals, and social media graphics
Execute projects across digital and print mediums
Maintain and evolve brand guidelines
Ensure designs are consistent across all platforms
Communicate design concepts effectively with clients and creative teams
Work closely with Art Directors, Copywriters, Web Developers, and Marketing Teams
Stay on top of deadlines while juggling multiple projects
Ensure files are prepared properly for digital platforms or print production

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in graphic design roles
Advanced expertise with Adobe Creative Suite tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Familiarity with design software like Figma or Sketch
Basic knowledge of motion graphic tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
Experience creating assets for digital marketing campaigns
Strong knowledge of print preparation processes including typography, layout, and color theory
Understanding of user-centered design principles and basic UX/UI practices
Professional portfolio showcasing diverse range of work
Creative problem-solving skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Highly organized with attention to detail

Nice to have:

Familiarity with design software like Figma or Sketch
Basic knowledge of motion graphic tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro)
Understanding of user-centered design principles and basic UX/UI practices
Agency or in-house experience
