We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join a dynamic team in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. This contract-to-permanent role offers a hybrid work schedule, combining onsite collaboration and remote flexibility. The ideal candidate will contribute to impactful projects for a not-for-profit organization that supports the Metro-Detroit community through events, advocacy, and education. This position is perfect for someone eager to grow their design skills while working on diverse creative campaigns.
Job Responsibility:
Design and produce engaging visual content across various media platforms, ensuring alignment with brand standards
Collaborate with a creative team to develop and refine marketing materials for community-focused initiatives
Assist in the execution of campaigns, including production-heavy tasks and original conceptual work
Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and provide design support for an involved board and staff
Create high-quality event collateral for large-scale gatherings ranging from 15 to 600 attendees
Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to produce visually appealing designs
Implement strong typography skills to maintain a consistent, type-driven brand identity
Leverage AI tools for creative brainstorming and innovation in design projects
Ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining attention to detail and quality
Participate in feedback sessions and embrace opportunities for growth
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of graphic design experience, preferably in a collaborative environment
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Creative Cloud
Strong knowledge of typography and its application in brand-driven designs
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Experience using project management tools such as Asana
Exceptional adaptability, teamwork, and openness to feedback
Willingness to work onsite three days a week (Tuesday–Thursday) with occasional remote flexibility
Enthusiasm for learning and growing within an entry-level to mid-level role
Nice to have:
Familiarity with After Effects is an advantage
Motion graphics experience with After Effects is a plus
