We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design portfolio, showcasing innovative packaging designs, branding work, and a keen understanding of consumer trends and retail environments. This role involves conceptualizing and executing visual designs that align with branding guidelines, marketing strategies, and product goals while ensuring they resonate with target audiences.
Job Responsibility:
Create visually compelling and functional packaging solutions (primary and secondary) that align with product positioning, market demands, and brand aesthetics
Maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all CPG touchpoints, including logos, typography, color palettes, and imagery
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, marketing, and production teams) to design assets for new product launches, such as labels, boxes, and promotional materials
Design promotional assets, including trade show displays, in-store point-of-sale materials (POS), brochures, and presentations, to drive brand awareness and product sales
Research design trends specific to the CPG space and incorporate them to ensure packaging and branding are up-to-date and competitive
Work closely with marketing and product development teams to translate business goals into engaging and effective visual communication
Prepare design files for print and production, ensuring proper specifications, dielines, and print deliverables are met
Requirements:
Minimum of 3–5 years of graphic design experience, with a focus on projects within the CPG industry
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and familiarity with packaging-specific tools (e.g., 3D rendering software like Cinema 4D or Esko ArtiosCAD is a plus)
A strong creative eye with an understanding of design aesthetics and consumer behavioral trends
An impressive portfolio showing packaging and branding work that aligns with CPG brand strategies
Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
High standards in design, typography, color accuracy, and production specs
Nice to have:
Experience with sustainability-focused packaging design solutions
Knowledge of shopper psychology and retail merchandising
Familiarity with the FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) landscape
Working knowledge of print production processes, including die cutting, embossing, and foiling
