Develop a deep understanding of the competitive set, retail environments (both physical and digital), and shopper motivations
Conduct in-store audits and competitive reviews to ensure our brands stand out at the 'moment of truth' on the shelf
Participate in brand strategy discussions, providing a visual perspective to business-critical decisions
Design and execute world-class packaging and marketing collateral that aligns with brand architecture and category strategy
Translate complex brand positioning into clear, effective visual communication that drives conversion
Manage the creative process from initial concept through production-ready handoffs
Collaborate with Art Directors to ensure all work meets the highest standards of brand consistency and design excellence
Manage and prioritize the creative pipeline for your category pod, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are aligned
Ask the right questions to clarify objectives and recommend the best creative solutions for the business
Use project management tools (Wrike) to track intake, status, and capacity
Partner with Product, Marketing, and Operations to streamline workflows and share category-specific best practices
Requirements:
3–6+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a heavy emphasis on CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) and packaging design
A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in packaging layouts, typography, and production-ready files
A genuine interest in business strategy, retail dynamics, and how consumer behavior influences design
Proven ability to work directly with internal 'clients' (Sales, Marketing, Innovation) and manage expectations
Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with AI design tools and project management software (Wrike) is a major plus
Exceptional communication, organization, and a 'proactive problem-solver' mentality
