The Graphic Designer / Media Designer IV is a senior-level role responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing high-quality electronic and printed materials in support of a Supplier Diversity Department and broader organizational needs. A key focus is the development of the annual Supplier Diversity Report submitted to a state regulatory agency.
Job Responsibility:
Conceptualize, plan, design, and produce specialized graphic and illustrative materials, including complex, data-driven regulatory reports
Translate program objectives, regulatory requirements, and performance metrics into clear, effective, and visually compelling designs
Collaborate with internal clients and stakeholders to assess design needs and develop appropriate creative direction, concepts, and specifications
Participate in planning sessions and project meetings as required
Continuously improve design workflows and processes to increase efficiency while maintaining high design quality and brand integrity
Ensure consistency across all deliverables by applying and upholding established branding guidelines
contribute to the evolution of visual standards as appropriate
Oversee and coordinate the production process from concept through final delivery, including providing production specifications, reviewing proofs, and ensuring adherence to quality and brand standards
Coordinate and maintain graphic, art, image, and video asset libraries
Identify, select, and coordinate with external vendors such as printers, illustrators, photographers, and other creative professionals as needed
Provide creative and design support for additional initiatives, presentations, outreach materials, and internal communications
Perform other duties as assigned in support of supplier diversity initiatives, regulatory reporting, and departmental priorities
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Art, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related discipline
8 years of experience with professional / corporate graphic design
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
Excellent time-management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities in a deadline-driven environment
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Strong conceptual design expertise with a high level of skill in layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
Proven ability to translate complex data, narratives, and regulatory information into polished, on-brand designs across print, digital, and presentation formats
