This is obtained by helping us create Baxter Labels at excellent quality. Revise labels according to multi-functional (e.g. Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Human Factor, Quality, Packaging, Manufacturing) and multi-market requirements consolidated and received as a mark-up input document. Ensure that design control and risk management are performed in line with Baxter applicable procedures. Responsible for executing day-to-day activities to support Global Labeling Operations. Understand and leverage Baxter quality practices within your area of responsibility.
Job Responsibility
Design product labeling artworks according to the mark-up provided
Ensure all typesetting of packaging components (including the text, graphics, chemical structures, bar codes, etc…) are as per technical inputs and applicable standards
Collaborate with labelling stakeholders to develop draft product labeling artwork for submission to health authorities, and final product labeling artwork for implementation to product
Understand and act per Baxter labeling, redlining and translation process and data management systems
Prepare language translations inputs for translation supplier and process language translation output into final labeling
Interact with manufacturing and print supplier to resolve labeling related printing issues
Apply Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and maintain clear traceability across revisions
Ensure labeling product design targets are closely monitored to successfully meet project milestones and metrics.
Requirements
Experience in using Adobe Applications like "InDesign", "Illustrator" and "Photoshop"
Good understanding of typesetting of packaging components (including the text, graphics, chemical structures, bar codes etc…) per guidelines and standards
Proficient in computer graphics processes and technologies
Understanding of desktop publishing standards and printing processes is an asset
Experience in labeling quality control using "Verify" or similar artwork comparison software
Good organizational skills and ability to support business targets
Be meticulous and attentive to detail
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in quality control would be considered an asset
Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
Fluency in any other language is considered as an asset
Advanced Diploma or Degree in Art & Design

Completed artwork design certification program at technical school or satisfactory completion of proficiency examination.
