Job Description

As a Graphic Design Specialist, you contribute to strengthening the IKEA brand and customer experience through clear, inspiring, and consistent visual communication across all touchpoints.

Job Responsibility

  • Create and implement graphic communication solutions in-store and online, ensuring a strong and consistent IKEA identity
  • Support the store with campaigns, launches, and commercial activities, translating messages into engaging visual content
  • Design and adapt content for social media and digital platforms, contributing to relevant, inspiring, and on-brand storytelling
  • Ensure all communication is clear, customer-focused, and easy to understand, supporting a smooth shopping experience
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Retail Design to deliver commercial and coordinated communication solutions
  • Keep up to date with graphic trends, digital behavior, and social media best practices, adapting communication to local customer needs
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of store communication, including signage, digital screens, and printed materials
  • Support fast and efficient implementation, balancing creativity with simplicity and cost efficiency

Requirements

  • Education in graphic design, visual communication, media, or a related field
  • Experience in graphic design, visual communication, or content creation
  • Strong commercial mindset and understanding how communication drives customer engagement and sales
  • Confident using design tools (Adobe Creative Suite and similar)
  • Passion for social media, digital trends, and content creation, with an eye for what is relevant and engaging for different audiences
  • Translate ideas into clear, simple, and visually impactful communication across formats
  • Enjoy working in a hands-on and fast-paced environment, delivering both digital and physical communication solutions
  • Collaborate easily across functions and build strong relationships
  • Communicate fluently in English and Romanian
