Job Description

We are seeking a passionate graphic designer to work with us in our Columbus, OH studio for Summer 2026. The successful candidate will support the design studio across various aspects of our work by creating innovative consumer-driven experiences. At JLL Design we are passionate about Retail, Store Design, and Brand Activation. We develop brand stories, impactful touchpoints, and bold visuals to create memorable in person experiences for our clients and their customers.

Job Responsibility

  • Participates in team meetings with highly collaborative professionals
  • Supports team in design concepts through 2D graphic elements
  • Deliverable deck design
  • Production art deliverables
  • Conceptual graphic creation

Requirements

  • Pursuant or completed Bachelor’s degree in visual communications or graphic design
  • Strong portfolio showing a range of skills
  • An interest and understanding of brand standards and style guidelines
  • Ability to communicate concepts and ideas to others
  • Knowledge of design principles and aesthetics specifically relevant to retail environments
  • Ability to quickly produce high-quality concept sketches and mockups
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and Office 365 tools
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with the design team, vendors, and other partners in the retail industry
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and ideas to the design team
  • Strong listening skills
  • Ability to excel under pressure
  • Attention to detail and a critical eye for design quality and consistency
  • Strong follow-up and follow through
  • Permanent US work authorization required
