Job Description:

Are you a graphic design or visual communication student looking for a 6-month internship in a dynamic communication agency? Arctik is a Brussels-based communication agency specialising in European affairs, science communication, and strategic storytelling. We work with EU institutions, research organisations, and public sector clients to transform complex ideas into clear, engaging, and visually compelling communications. As part of our creative team, you’ll gain hands-on experience in designing for EU-funded projects, policy campaigns, and institutional reports, while working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive, international environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Designing reports, brochures, and presentations for EU institutions and research organisations
  • Creating infographics and data visualisations to simplify complex topics (e.g., policy briefs, scientific findings)
  • Developing social media assets, event materials, and digital content (banners, posters, animations)
  • Collaborating with communication experts to turn ideas into compelling visuals

Requirements:

  • Student in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field (final year of bachelor or master)
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Fluent in English (French or Dutch is a bonus)
  • Bonus skills: Illustration (digital or hand-drawn)
  • Love design with purpose: you enjoy creating visuals that simplify complex topics ( ex: policy, research, science)
  • Are curious and eager to learn: you want to explore how design can support communication strategies
  • Think creatively and adapt quickly: you’re comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Bring a positive attitude: you’re a team player with a good sense of humour and a solution-oriented mindset

Nice to have:
