Job Description:

As Graphic Communication Co-worker your responsibilities will include planning, implementing, and evaluating store communication that amplifies the shopping experience and range presentation through IKEA visual and verbal identity. You will work in partnership with the wider Communication and Interior Design team and other functions in the store, acting together to quickly take advantage of commercial opportunities. You will secure visual balance and consistency, quality and simplicity, cost-efficiency and sustainability in producing and positioning store communication. You will actively contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of store communication strategies to support a convenient shopping process. The role is dynamic and physical in a busy retail operation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Planning, implementing, and evaluating store communication that amplifies the shopping experience and range presentation through IKEA visual and verbal identity
  • Working in partnership with the wider Communication and Interior Design team and other functions in the store, acting together to quickly take advantage of commercial opportunities
  • Securing visual balance and consistency, quality and simplicity, cost-efficiency and sustainability in producing and positioning store communication
  • Actively contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of store communication strategies to support a convenient shopping process
  • A hand-on approach - the role is dynamic and physical in a busy retail operation

Requirements:

  • Professional experience in graphic design/graphic communication with proficiency in relevant applications like Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & After Affects, as well as the use of production printers
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships and influence others across the business
  • Able to prioritise and organise your workload to meet deadlines within a busy, operating retail environment
  • A practical hands-on approach to production and implementation
  • Driven by your desire to learn about IKEA ways of working, routines, responsibilities, proven solutions, and best practices, while also improving ways of working to minimise financial and environmental costs
