Job Description:

Graphic Communication Co-worker role at IKEA Adelaide Airport, responsible for implementing customer store communication, analyzing graphic impact, and creating graphic solutions using IKEA visual identity to support commercial priorities.

Job Responsibility:

Contributing to positioning IKEA store as first choice for home furnishing on local market
Overseeing and supporting implementation of complete range of customer store communication
Analysing impact of graphic communications inside and outside IKEA store to suggest solutions or improvements
Ensuring IKEA communication is clear, consistent, understandable, uncluttered and correctly placed
Using graphic design skills, IKEA Concept and IKEA visual identity to create and implement graphic solutions
Keeping updated with knowledge about home furnishing, communication, and retail design trends

Requirements:

Strong eye for detail and aesthetics
Passion for home furnishings and people's lives at home
Passionate about conveying messages in meaningful and memorable way
Strong communication skills with ability to build trusting relationships and influence others
Able to prioritise and organise workload
Practical hands-on approach to production and implementation
Ability to work in fast-paced retail environment to tight deadlines
Desire to seek out opportunities that improve work processes
Previous experience working in Graphic Design/Graphic Communication
Completed higher education in Graphic Design/Graphic Communication
Previous exposure to Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign CC

Nice to have:

Previous experience in fast-moving environment
Previous exposure to Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign CC
