Job Responsibility:

  • Help secure store communication that enhances and amplifies the shopping experience through impactful range presentation using IKEA’s visual and verbal identity, building a strong perception of the IKEA brand in the local market
  • Contribute to maintaining IKEA’s brand identity and standards throughout the entire customer journey
  • Support home furnishing solutions through creative storytelling, using copywriting and layout/design
  • Manage the full production process: printing, installation, and quality control for small to very large graphics
  • Actively contribute to our sustainability commitment
  • Assist and support with other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years related experience and formal education in graphic communication design
  • Strong knowledge of various media types and typography
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator with Cutting Master plug-in, Photoshop)
  • Proficient in video creation and editing tools (Adobe Premiere, After Effects)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic understanding of graphic production tools and processes, including printers, pre-press production, and print techniques
  • Basic understanding of preparing artwork for internal print or external vendors
  • Basic understanding of working with large-format printers, prepping media, basic maintenance
  • Basic understanding of Graphtex vinyl cutter and lamination equipment
  • Advanced proficiency in English written (spelling & grammar) and verbal, required for copywriting
  • Amazing attention for detail and consistent with your approach
  • Obvious creative flair
  • Ability to effortlessly juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Demonstrate ability to solve complex visual design challenges and effectively present creative ideas and solutions
  • Understand how to work in a matrixed environment, both with internal and external stakeholders, as well as external vendors
