Job Responsibility:
Use graphic communication competence to strengthen the uniqueness and consistency of the IKEA identity
Plan, implement and evaluate store communications to ensure that it conveys the benefits of the IKEA Concept, Brand and Culture, as well as best practices, guidelines and national directions
Respect routines and responsibilities, working together with the stakeholders in the store, and acting quickly to capitalise on commercial opportunities and understand the impact of your actions on the financial results
Practical, hands on involvement in daily production tasks, including installing signage, working with vinyl materials, operating large‑format printers, and creating high‑quality in house communications
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience of using graphic design and video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite) and production tools
Education in graphic communication design, media and/or typography or relevant experience
Practical hands-on approach, feeling at ease working with various hand tools and comfortable working at heights
Proven ability to prioritise and organise your workload in order to make the most efficient use of available time and meet agreed goals and deadlines. Demonstrating flexibility and composure when juggling multiple roles and rapidly changing priorities
Clear communication with the ability to explain concepts verbally and with visual interpretation
You enjoy working in an independent and autonomous role
Ability to communicate confidently and clearly across all store functions, building strong cross‑department relationships and effectively influencing a wider network of stakeholders
Enthusiastic and curious to developing new skills and expand professional knowledge, with an interest in exploring innovative ways of working and adapting to new creative challenges to support continuous improvement
