A nonprofit organization is seeking a Grants Manager to lead and manage all aspects of the grant lifecycle. This role requires strong experience in securing funding, managing compliance, and overseeing reporting processes. The ideal candidate brings a strategic approach to grant development and can operate independently.
Job Responsibility
Lead grant strategy, including identifying and prioritizing funding opportunities
Write, prepare, and submit complex grant proposals for public and private funding sources
Manage the full grant lifecycle from application through award and closeout
Oversee compliance, reporting requirements, and audit readiness
Develop and maintain relationships with funders and partners
Collaborate with leadership and program teams to align funding with organizational goals
Track grant performance, budgets, and deliverables
Implement and improve grant management systems and processes
Requirements
5–10 years of grant writing/management experience within a nonprofit
Proven track record of successfully securing and managing grants
Strong knowledge of grant compliance, reporting, and funding regulations
Experience with federal, state, and foundation grants
Excellent writing, editing, and project management skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex projects
Proficiency in grant management systems and Microsoft Office
