As the Grants Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that programs have the financial backbone to thrive. You’ll manage post-award grant finances, compliance, billing, and reporting, while leading a small but mighty team. Job Responsibility:
Lead post-award grants and contracts management: budgeting, reporting and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and internal policies
Review grant and contract allocations to ensure proper expense coding, allowability, and adherence to administrative cost limits
Prepare financial reports for funders, internal leadership, and audits
Serve as the go-to expert for Uniform Guidance and fund accounting practices
Oversee funder billing, invoicing, and cash receipts to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Track accounts receivable, reconcile balance sheets and manage month-end procedures
Forecast cash flow and support efficient financial operations across programs
Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals
Recruit and onboard new staff

Ensure adherence to internal controls and smooth departmental operations
Requirements:
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
5+ years of supervisory experience, ideally in nonprofit finance
2–5 years of expertise in post-award grants, contracts management, and funder billing
Deep knowledge of GAAP, fund accounting, and Uniform Guidance
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
experience with Salesforce or similar systems a plus
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Passion for social equity and making a tangible community impact
