Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Grants Coordinator to join our team in Santa Barbara, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing client intake, reviewing applications, and ensuring efficient grant processing. This position requires exceptional organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle a high volume workload while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct initial client intake and eligibility screenings while offering referrals to community resources
  • Review grant applications thoroughly and collect all required documentation
  • Maintain consistent communication with partner case managers to ensure effective collaboration
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating partner training sessions and informational meetings
  • Accurately enter and manage client data while safeguarding confidential records
  • Prepare detailed reports on program activities and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify and recommend improvements to processes and best practices for program efficiency
  • Provide administrative support to ensure seamless coordination of grant-related activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree required
  • Proficiency in both Spanish and English is essential
  • Strong customer service skills and financial acumen are necessary
  • Exceptional writing abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Capability to handle high-volume workloads while remaining composed under pressure
  • Experience with technical systems and database management
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • At least one year of relevant experience in administrative assistance or grant management
