Job Description:

Our client is looking to fill the role of Grants Associate. The Grants Associate supports the Grant Development team in maintaining, diversifying, and pursuing funding resources, including foundation and government grants. This role is responsible for researching and identifying new funding opportunities; drafting compelling proposals, reports, and program overviews in collaboration with senior grants staff to help secure and sustain funding for programs. The Grants Associate also maintains grant calendars, tracks reporting requirements and submission deadlines. This position reports to the Senior Director of Grants and Resource Development, works closely with the Director of Government Grants, and collaborates with members of the grants team, development team, finance department, and program departments as needed.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with drafting and proofing well-written letters of inquiry, grant proposals, and funding applications
  • Research and identify potential government, foundation, and other grant opportunities
  • Monitor government and foundation websites regularly for upcoming RFP/RFQ/RFA releases
  • Create basic visuals to enhance written proposals, reports, and other communications
  • Gather pertinent information from program, finance, data, and other relevant staff for grant applications
  • Liaise with government agencies and foundation professionals
  • Maintain and update account and opportunity records in Salesforce
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:
