Job Description:

Our client, an invaluable non-profit, is in need for a Grant Billing Specialist to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis! This is a great opportunity to be part of an organization that is not only growing in Southern Arizona, but also making an impact in the community. This is located Central/East side of Tucson.

Job Responsibility:

  • Resolution of customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner
  • Prepare grants and contracts invoices in compliance with program guidelines
  • Conducting billing functions with accuracy and efficiency
  • Utilizing Accounting Software Systems and CRM for various tasks
  • Reconcile grants and contracts payments and expenses
  • Monitor grants and contracts expenses and activities
  • Using Donor Perfect and CRM in daily operations
  • Create and maintain positive work relationships with program staff and collaborate with them to accomplish organizational grant goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Billing Analyst or in a similar role
  • Previous experience at non-profit is preferred
  • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is required
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is preferred, but open to training someone with strong MS Excel
  • Experience with Donor Perfect software would be a significant advantage
