Job Description:

Detail-oriented Grant Analyst to join our team in Youngstown, Ohio. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a critical role in overseeing grant processes, ensuring compliance, and enhancing the financial management of grant-funded initiatives. Job Responsibility:

Review and evaluate grant proposals, applications, and agreements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives
Monitor and manage grant budgets and expenditures, ensuring funds are allocated appropriately and meet funding guidelines
Conduct financial analyses and create comprehensive reports for internal teams, funders, and auditors
Track and manage grant deliverables, timelines, and reporting deadlines to maintain compliance
Support program staff in developing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for grant-funded projects
Maintain precise records of grant awards, amendments, disbursements, and closeout documentation
Collaborate with auditors, finance personnel, and program teams to promote transparency and accountability
Identify and address risks, discrepancies, or compliance issues, offering actionable recommendations
Stay informed on federal, state, and private grant regulations and best practices to ensure organizational adherence

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, Business, or a related field
Strong knowledge of grant management principles, including compliance and financial reporting
Proficiency in financial analysis and budgeting, with excellent attention to detail
Familiarity with federal, state, and private grant regulations and policies
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams
Experience with financial software and tools is highly desirable

Nice to have:

Master's degree is preferred for advanced roles
Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Credit Risk Management, or related areas is a plus
