Job Description

We’re seeking a Grant Accountant to partner closely with the CFO and finance team in a high-impact role supporting grant accounting, strengthening compliance, and driving meaningful process improvements within a growing, mission-driven organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage accounting for multiple grants, including revenue, expenses, and fund tracking
  • Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, FASB, and 2 CFR Part 200
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal/external audits
  • Prepare reports, invoices, and reimbursement requests
  • Track budgets, analyze variances, and forecast spend
  • Partner with program leaders on financial performance and reporting needs
  • Support grant budgets, modifications, and closeouts
  • Strengthen processes, controls, and overall financial procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related
  • 3+ years of nonprofit grant accounting
  • Strong knowledge of FASB and federal grant compliance
  • Experience managing multiple grants and audits
  • ERP experience, Advanced Excel, and systems savvy
