Job Responsibility:

  • Promptly welcome guests and provide responsive and professional service
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and respond urgently
  • Communicate effectively with management, chefs, and culinary staff
  • Clear and clean tables, booths, and chairs after guests leave
  • Assist servers in pre-busing and busing tables including wiping and setting tables
  • Set up to-go/pick-up area and deliver to-go orders to host desk
  • Refill beverages as necessary
  • Set and reset tables and side stations before, during, and after service
  • Deliver food orders to tables
  • Ensure all machines are cleaned properly
  • Fold/roll napkins and keep silverware polished
  • Reset tables promptly and efficiently
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings and learn new menu items
  • Assist kitchen in expediting service
  • Maintain general cleanliness in dining room during service
  • Take, compile, deliver, and put away warehouse orders
  • Perform any other duties within the scope of the position

Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Ability to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends
  • Ability to communicate in English both written and oral
  • Ability to perform basic reading, math, and writing
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks
  • Physical ability to stand and walk constantly and perform reaching, bending, kneeling, and balancing frequently
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift 50lbs or less frequently
  • Ability to use both hands repetitively and perform light to strong grasping
  • Good vision including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision
  • Ability to operate glassware washing machines and refill ice and beer bins
  • Knowledge of dish room operations
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
