Job Description:

I am looking for a Grains Trader in Jakarta, you will drive the merchandising of key agricultural products—specifically grains and feedstuffs. Your primary focus will be achieving ambitious sales targets, maximizing financial returns, and expanding our distribution operations. In this dynamic role, you will leverage deep market intelligence to execute timely buy-and-sell decisions, navigate shifting economic conditions, and foster long-lasting relationships with customers and international trading partners.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze commodity positions, market trends, and economic conditions to identify highly profitable trading opportunities
  • Apply agile trading strategies adapted to various market trends and economic climates
  • Closely monitor supply, demand, and international trade flows that impact pricing and valuations
  • Actively identify and develop opportunities for portfolio expansion and business growth
  • Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial business relationships with existing networks and potential trading partners

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in international agricultural commodities trading (specifically handling Soybean, Corn, Soybean Meal, Corn Gluten Meal, or similar products)
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and negotiation skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor Degree

Nice to have:

Proficiency in Power BI
