We have a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Transport Planner, based in either our Sheffield or Nottingham Office. Working alongside a small team of experienced and skilled transport planners, we will support you in developing the skills and knowledge that you will need for a rewarding career in transport planning. Job Responsibility:

  • Assisting in the preparation of Transport Statement / Transport Assessments / Travel Plan reports
  • assisting with preparing initial Site Access Appraisals
  • Data collection and analysis
  • Preparing preliminary highway design drawings using AutoCAD
  • Site visit works
  • working with senior officers, clients and other consultants to deliver development

Requirements:

  • a degree in Transport planning, Geography, Civil Engineering or related
  • Ideally exposure to AutoCAD and GIS
  • excellent writing skills with a strong eye for detail and high level of accuracy
  • excellent communication skills and a friendly approachable manner
