Job Description:

This unique rotational role within Global Accounting and Financial Services (GAFS) offers exposure to various accounting and financial functions including Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). The Global Business Service Support team member will rotate across modules to support global business operations, drive process improvements, and gain a holistic understanding of AMD’s financial ecosystem.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in rotational assignments across GAFS functions to support global financial operations
  • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across different modules
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
  • Prepare and present financial insights and updates to leadership
  • Contribute to global projects and initiatives, including automation and standardization efforts
  • Document learnings and best practices from each rotation to support knowledge sharing and onboarding

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Prior experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in a shared services or multinational environment
  • 1 - 2 years of related working experience
  • Exposure to ERP systems (SAP S4 preferred), advanced Excel skills, Power Automate & Power BI will be an added advantage
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience in process improvement or project-based work is a plus
  • MBA or CPA is an advantage

Nice to have:

  • MBA or CPA is an advantage
  • Exposure to ERP systems (SAP S4 preferred), advanced Excel skills, Power Automate & Power BI will be an added advantage
