Job Description:

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Slough is looking to appoint a motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, educational professionals, or graduates looking to gain valuable classroom experience within a primary school setting. The school is particularly interested in graduates who have achieved a 2:1 or above in their degree, and Russell Group graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting pupils during lessons across a range of subjects
  • Working with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning
  • Supporting children with varying learning abilities and additional needs
  • Assisting with classroom preparation and behaviour management
  • Helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and engagement within lessons

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree with a 2:1 classification or above
  • Russell Group graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Have been educated through the UK education system or possess a strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
