Graduate Teaching Assistant – Maths Focus. Are you a recent Maths Graduate seeking hands- on experience as a Maths Teaching assistant, with the opportunity to progress onto salaried teacher training? This excellent secondary school in Lambeth are in the top 1 percent for their Maths results and are seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant – Maths Focus to join their team. This comes with the opportunity to train throughout the year as a Maths Teacher.

Job Responsibility:

  • Teaching small groups maths interventions
  • Receiving support and training throughout
  • Working across Year 7 to Year 10 to begin with
  • Supporting classes across KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Running small intervention groups similar to tutoring
  • Offering some 1:1 support with students

Requirements:

  • Must have a 1st Class or 2:1 degree from the above subjects from a reputable University
  • Good A Levels & GCSEs across the board
  • Must be confident within your ability and knowledge of the KS3 & KS4 curriculum content
