Job Description:

The Graduate Teacher Programme offers a salaried route into teaching at a leading Secondary School in Camden, London. Starting in September 2025, the program provides full training and mentoring to develop graduates into qualified teachers. Candidates will work full-time, supporting students, attending training sessions, and gradually taking on teaching responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

Working full-time within the school, supporting students in your specialist subject
Training under expert teachers with a view to earning Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Leading small group sessions and gradually taking on whole class teaching
Attending regular professional development and in-house training sessions
Developing a deep understanding of pedagogy, curriculum, and classroom management

Requirements:

A recent graduate with a 2:1 or above from a top university
Strong subject knowledge in your chosen field (e.g. Maths, Science, English, Humanities)
Passionate about education and committed to a long-term teaching career
Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
Prior experience with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, coaching) desirable but not essential
