Requirements

12-15+years industrial Experience in Electrical Engineering and in the domain of skid-based module’s design in energy industries
Graduate /Postgraduate –Electrical /Instrumentation Engineering
Good knowledge of engineering codes & standards related to electrical engineering
Practical experience with module engineering & design (PID, Layout) for Alfa Laval specific applications
Industry Knowledge –High Speed separator modules
Good understanding of engineering tools. MS Office. MS Project or any other project management tool
Good written and spoken English
Leadership and management skills
Project management skills with relevant experience
Business understanding and strategic overview

Job Responsibility

Design & engineering approval
Costing approvals
Engineering schedule planning & approval, compensation recommendations, training & career development approvals
Employee management (including hiring & firing), motivation of employees and practical employee administration (vacation plans, sickness, travel booking, travel rules and payments and office space)
Resource management including distributing project work and other tasks to employees and follow up direct line reporting
Resource forecasting
Act as liaison between different stakeholders
Responsible for and have the authority to make decisions, manage the project budget and manage the allocated resources, within given time frame
Cost evaluation for the project
Instrument’s, Control valve Selection, Sizing and datasheet preparation as per project requirement

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and eight (8) years of directly relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of directly relevant education and engineering or scientific experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform independent research and development
Active DOE Q-level security clearance
Two or more years of demonstrated leadership experience
A graduate degree in science or engineering (MS or PhD)

Apply a broad spectrum of core S&T strengths to address pressing national needs related to a secure and resilient electric infrastructure
Contribute to the evolving national security strategies in Sandia's broad energy and infrastructure program areas
Participate in the national dialogue on grid security as you develop partnerships and work with external colleagues in professional societies and various industry, academic, and government research organizations
Build world-class teams to address the nation's toughest grid challenges
Develop new partnerships across Sandia and with external organizations that complement our capabilities
Create new programs through white papers and proposals to improve on our core competencies and expand the department's customer base, including Lab-Directed Research and Development projects
