Job Description

Welcome to SITA! We're the team that keeps airports moving, airlines flying smoothly, and borders open. Our tech and communication breakthroughs are the foundation of the global air travel industry. You'll find us at 95% of international hubs. We partner closely with over 2,500 transportation and government clients, each with their own unique needs and challenges. Our goal is to find fresh solutions and cutting-edge tech to make their operations run like clockwork. Want to be a part of something big? Are you ready to love your job? The adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA. ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM - SITA is on the lookout for a recent graduate to join our SkyStar Program within the Strategy & Growth Enablement function, initially for a 12 period, with opportunity to become permanent. Your main tasks as Graduate- Strategy & Innovation, will involve supporting the day‑to‑day operations of SITA's Central Innovation Fund (CIF). Working closely with more senior members of the Strategy & Innovation team, and the wider S&GE team, you will take ownership of clearly defined tasks across intake administration, portfolio documentation, reporting, and event support. You will learn the mechanics of stage‑gate governance, how innovation projects are evaluated and funded, and how to communicate progress to stakeholders. This role is a hands‑on opportunity to build the foundations of a career in innovation and strategy in a supportive, structured environment with regular guidance and feedback. Early career talent is our future, and we're thrilled to have you join impactful missions alongside our experts, nurturing your growth with valuable experiences. We can't wait to witness the incredible things you'll achieve with us! Empowered People, Reinventing Travel

Job Responsibility

  • Support the CIF intake funnel: help collect and organize submissions, perform basic eligibility checks against defined criteria, and flag questions to your manager
  • Help prepare materials for stage‑gate reviews and steering forums under the guidance of senior colleagues
  • take meeting notes, capture decisions, and track follow‑ups
  • Maintain the portfolio trackers (pipeline, stage, budget, decision logs) — keep entries accurate, complete, and up to date

  • incorporate feedback from your manager to improve drafts
  • Prepare clear, concise notes and summaries for the immediate team and direct stakeholders

  • Help compile lightweight business cases and customer test plans using existing frameworks and templates
  • Capture learnings from project reviews and add them to the internal knowledge base
  • Keep CIF policies, templates, and guidance documents organized and current under your manager’s direction
  • Support vendor onboarding paperwork and basic compliance checks in partnership with Finance, Legal, and Procurement colleagues
  • Identify when to ask for help, when to research independently, and when to escalate
  • Help organize demo days, showcases, and learning sessions — logistics, invites, agendas, and follow‑ups
  • Draft short write‑ups of project wins and learnings for internal communications, working from supervisor guidance
  • Participate actively in team discussions
  • share useful learnings and resources with colleagues

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Engineering, Sciences, or a relevant field (recent graduates welcome)

  • Strong written and verbal English
  • able to write clear summaries and present comfortably to immediate team members and direct stakeholders
  • Well‑organized, detail‑oriented, and reliable
  • able to manage multiple small tasks to deadline with guidance
  • Open to feedback, eager to learn, and comfortable asking clarifying questions
  • Structured Thinking: Approaches assigned tasks methodically and is learning to apply simple MECE frameworks

  • Clear Communication: Prepares clear, concise notes, summaries, and slides for immediate stakeholders
  • listens actively and acts on feedback

  • double‑checks work before sharing
  • Curiosity & Learning Mindset: Builds foundational knowledge in innovation, strategy, and project management
  • reflects on feedback to keep improving
  • Collaboration: Works cooperatively with team members, participates actively in discussions, and adapts to evolving workstream needs

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with project tools such as Power BI, Smartsheet, Jira, or Confluence
  • Interest in the aviation, travel, or technology sectors
  • Experience producing data visualizations or summary reports for an audience
