Job Description:

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role at an Outstanding graded All-Through school in South West London, working with children aged 4-16 with special educational needs. Perfect springboard for careers in Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, Therapies or similar fields.

Job Responsibility:

Work with children with SEN including ASD, SP&L, SEMH, Behaviour, GDD
Support children 1-2-1 and in small group interventions
Work alongside Class Teachers, Senior Leaders and SENCOs
Utilise specialist Sensory Rooms for interventions
Work with external agencies, Social Workers, Counsellors, Educational Psychologists
Work with children with EHCPs ensuring their needs are met

Requirements:

Psychology or similar degree
Predicted or Final grade 1st Class or 2:1
Previous experience with children/young people (tutoring, summer camps, nannying, babysitting, support work)
Professional or personal SEN/Disability experience
Strong A-Levels and GCSEs
Resilience
Get up and go personality
Sense of humour
Ambitious

Nice to have:

Psychology degree
SEN/Disability experience
Professional or personal experience with special needs
