This innovative program provides exceptional support of newly licensed Registered Nurses. Through in-depth experiences on three different specialty units at St. Luke's Medical Center; the program provides choices to assist you in determining an area to start your career.
Job Responsibility:
Work in a cohort with support and collaboration throughout the program
Staff with a preceptor for 3 weeks, (36 hours per week), on 3 Specialty Med/Surg units
Determine and choose which unit best fits their career goal for longevity through a Realistic Job Preview of each unit's culture
Requirements:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification
