Job Description:

Morson are working with on of the UK’s leading aerospace manufacturers,this role will provide support to the R&T team at Burnley to execute the R&T projects. Projects in relation to composite manufacturing, sheet metal and assembly technologies. The role of the candidate could also include facilitating the execution of the plan.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in understanding the context of the projects and current challenges
  • Evaluate and define a roadmap / plan to address current issues
  • Be able to present the development plan to the team and to experts for validation
  • Facilitate the execution of the plan in a timely manner
  • Help to track progress and help ensure that plans are being done
  • Coordinate the stakeholders and ensure relevant information is circulated
  • Capture decisions and actions, write meeting minutes
  • Report findings. Review and collect results, providing summary of conclusions and key recommendations
  • Suggest next steps based upon review results
  • Close out actions once quality requirements have been met

Requirements:

  • Engineering studies in progress or completed (preferably related to Automation), with a basic understanding of Aerospace manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Good writing skills with the ability to review and summarise data
  • Good communication skills
  • Autonomy seen
  • Good team spirit
  • Enthusiasm and curiosity
