You will join a growing Independent Connections Provider in the North West. This company has an ever-increasing number of multi utility projects to design for industrial and commercial developments across the whole of the North West, North Midlands, and Yorkshire; meaning that there are many projects within your role. You’ll be responsible for the commercial side of wide ranging civils and utilities projects.
Job Responsibility:
Manage any change requests/variations within contracts, based on info provided by relevant members of staff
Sense check the information presented and scrutinise aspects of works included
Liaise with relevant members of staff to price the change request in line with the contract
Liaise with client to confirm the change request and agree approval
Inform Senior PM or Design Manager change approved/not approved
Ensure that projects are being designed and built in line with the contracts and employers
Update invoicing dates in line with the Senior PM feedback
Involvement in monthly payment application process or various projects
Update the project cost analysis spreadsheets on a monthly basis
Project finance review
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
Previous experience working within a utilities company (desirable)
